Spring Pictures: School Memories will be here TOMORROW to take spring pictures. If you would like your picture taken and order prints please pick up a form in the office. If you don’t fill out a form and return it to the office you won’t be called down to get a picture taken.

Summer Job: The York DuPont Pioneer Research Center is looking for hard-working, fun-loving individuals to help them pollinate this summer. Starting wage is $8.75 and all applicants must be 14 years or older by July 2015. This is a great way to work with your friends and meet new ones! Applications are available in the office. For more information contact Sam @ 402-362-6639 ext 142.

Fit & Healthy: Annie Jeffrey will be hosting a community 6 week wellness program for all kids 8 years old and over plus 1 parent. If you’re interested in attending this free program this summer please grab a registration form in the office. Registration forms are due to Annie Jeffrey Health Center April 20th.

Here's the Dirt from FFA

 

 
State FFA Convention is April 8, 9, and 10th in Lincoln. This year, we have 3 teams competing (Farm Management, Vet Science, and Floriculture) who qualified at Districts; Agriscience and Natural Resources are 2 non-district qualifying teams that we will be taking to compete. Reggie Rafert will also be competing at State Leadership Skills Events in the Extemp division. Good luck to all participants. 
 
 
The FFA will hold their first annual FFA Banquet on Thursday April 30th at 7:00 in the high school. Students, Supporters, and Community members will be honored at this time, FFA degrees will be awarded, and other various awards. Also, we will be hosting a hired hand member auction, along with other donated/created items to be auctioned off as well. Invite letters with more information will be sent out soon. 
 
 
Greenhouse will open up for plant sales on May 1st. Stop by to see our work and support the FFA through the purchase of plants. *Limited vegetables will be sold, majority of herbs and vegetables will be going to Harmony Nursery.
