Ag/FFA Teacher

Due to professional advancement, Cross County is seeking to fill a 1.0 FTE Agriculture/FFA teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.  Cross County has an Ag. program that supports two Ag. teachers and has a robust curriculum and student participation.  Cross County has a one-of-a-kind large animal handling facility that allows students and instructors hands-on experiences with cattle.  The school grounds allows the cattle to be on the property for easy access.  The Ag. program also resides in a recently added large Ag. facility lab and classroom.  A large greenhouse is also heavily used by the Ag. students and teachers.

This is truly a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to teach Agriculture and FFA in a state-of-the-art facility.  This individual would also have the opportunity to team teach alongside another fantastic Ag. instructor.

Cross County is a Certified High Reliability School through the Marzano Institute.  Cross County has reached Levels 1, 2, and 3 within the High Reliability School Framework and is the only school in the State of Nebraska to do so at this time.
