Cross County is taking applications for the following position for the 2026-2027 school year.

9-12 Science Teacher. 

Classes include Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.  The science classroom has an attached lab… an outstanding classroom design/set-up for a teacher who wants to teach hands-on, inquiry-based science lessons.  

We have multiple coaching and activity sponsor positions available.

The district has outstanding students, excellent staff, and outstanding facilities, which are located 15 minutes north of York, Nebraska.

Cross County is a Certified High Reliability School through the Marzano Institute.  Cross County has reached Levels 1, 2, and 3 within the High Reliability School Framework and is the only school in the State of Nebraska to do so at this time.

Additional Information:

The successful candidate will be given all years of experience on the salary schedule. Base salary for the 2026-2027 school year is $41,500.00. Expected starting date for the 26-27 school year for new staff is August 6th, 2026.
