FLAG TRYOUTS!

Flag tryouts for the 2019-2020 school year will be on May 13th @ 5:00 p.m.  There will be a meeting Wednesday, May 1st during homeroom. To discuss practice times and what will be expected at tryouts!  If you have any questions, please see Hilary Conway in the office!! Thanks!

 

DETASSELING MEETING

Detasseling meeting May 1st @ 5 pm in the library at CC.  See Ms. Nielsen for more details!

 

BOYS BASKETBALL

There will be a meeting in Mr. Conway’s room on Wednesday morning at 7:45 for any boy in grades 8-11 who is interested in playing basketball next year.

 

GIRLS BASKETBALL

There will be a Girls Basketball Meeting in Coach Boshart's room at 7:50 on Thursday for any girls in grades 8-11 interested in playing basketball next year

 

FCCLA

Our FCCLA chapter will be holding a food drive for the Living Water Rescue Mission in York! The food collected will be given to the shelter!  The FCCLA is working hard on a project, Hungry and Homeless and this is the last step to the project.  They would like to end the project with a bang!!  There will be a competition between all the classes and the staff!!  the winning team will get CUPCAKES!!!  

The following food items can be donated at the school!

SILVER STARS DANCE

Students in grades 8-11, if you would like to join the Silver Stars Dance Team for the 2019-2020 school year, dance try-outs are going to be held soon. 

 

There will be a try-out meeting on Thursday, April 18th at 7:45 a.m. in Mrs. Phillips' classroom (Room 206) to discuss try-outs. 

 

Dance try-out practices will be held April 25th, 26th, and 29th. All practices will be in the morning before school. The dance try-out will be Monday, April 29th at 6:30 p.m. 

 

If you have any questions about try-outs or anything regarding the dance team please don't be afraid to ask.

  • 2019 Cross County
    Girls Basketball Camp

    The Cross County Girls Basketball staff will be putting on a summer basketball camp for next year girls in grades 3-12. This three-day camp will introduce girls to many fundamentals of the game including:
     Shooting
     Passing
     Dribbling
     Offense
     Defense

    Dates:

    Monday, June 3- Wednesday, June 5:

    9-12th grade girls @ 9:00-11:00 a.m.

    3rd and 5th grade girls @ 1:00-2:15 p.m.

    6-8th grade girls @ 2:30-4:00 p.m.

  • Little Cougar Volleyball Camp 2019

    When: Monday, July 1st

    Morning Session: 10:00- 12:00 for girls entering grades 1-3.

    Afternoon Session: 1:00-3:30 for girls entering grades 4-6.

    Where: Cross County School

    Why: We are looking to introduce volleyball skills to our younger kids
    and strengthen volleyball skills for the older girls. We want to show
    our youth what Cougar volleyball is all about and get them excited to
    come watch us in the fall and to play on our court in the future!
    Cost: $15 (includes a shirt, treat, and prizes)
