Head Cook Position! 2026-2027 School Year!
Currently taking applications for Cross County's Head Cook Position for the 2026-2027 school year. This position needs to be filled by early summer of 2026 so the new person can attend some required Nutrition Services summer training. Very competitive hourly starting wage of $22.00 hour or higher, depending on experience. Position also comes with benefits (single insurance).
When fully staffed, we have three full-time assistant cooks and one half-time cook who comes in around serving and cleanup time.
All cooks get a free meal (lunch) at the end of the shift. A great job for a parent looking for a good-paying job during the school year, but wanting time off in the summer to be with their kids!
If interested, please go to the school's webpage or call the school for a hard copy and fill out the classified application. Once complete, please turn in or email to Brent Hollinger, Superintendent.
