Cross County Community School District

Mitch Boshart has received the Stromsburg Chamber of Commerce Educator of the Year award. This award is given out every year to a teacher at Cross County. The Chamber receives nominations and choses who they think is most deserving, "It was just nice to be nominated and I feel honored to win it because I know we've got a lot of great teachers in our building who are equally, if not more deserving" says Boshart. Just a few of the reasons Boshart was chosen include; his dedication to extra time outside of school hours helping the athletic program, building relationships in and outside of the classroom,  and implementing Marzano teaching strategies.
