This previous Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, Ty Racek, Matthew Reikofski, Tony Dewitt, and Gage Walker participated in Skills USA. Skills USA is a kin to FCCLA, Speech, or FFA, except instead of giving speeches on various topics, you demonstrate a practical skill such as cabinetmaking or power equipment technology. Matthew placed second in HVAC (heating ventilation and air conditioning systems) and the trio of Tony, Ty, & Gage placed first with their marble roller coaster in technical team problem solving.
