You could say that we will be celebrating homecoming this year to the beat of a different drum. The traditional homecoming pep rally and crowning of the Cross County King & Queen will take place on Friday, September 15. The Pep rally will begin at 3:00 PM and the coronation will be held after the Twin River football game. The football game scheduled for Sept. 22 was canceled due to a forfeit. We will continue to celebrate homecoming throughout the week of September 18-22 with dress-up days. Friday, September 22 will be a fun-filled day starting with the band visiting both Benedict and Stromsburg, a school tailgate party, and a dance in the evening.
**If Cross County happens to find a football game on Friday, Sept. 22, the pep rally and coronation will be moved back to Friday, September 22.
