Shop

This past weekend, Stromsburg came alive with the holiday spirit of entrepreneurship. It was exciting to see a few  Cross County elementary students showcasing their creativity and business skills at the Small Town Saturday Sales event. Violet Peterson could be found at the 4th Street Coffee House with her custom drawings and handmade bracelets. Macie Schmidtburger and Maya Lonsdale set up shop at the Rose Colored Glass where customers could pick their gnome theme and experience how they are made.  The students gained practical experience in setting up their booths and managing sales, along with developing interpersonal skills as they engaged with the community. The event not only featured the enthusiasm of the younger generation but also drew in participation from some CC high school students, CC staff members, and several Cross County alumni.  It was inspiring to see our Cross County and community connection shining bright at the Small Town Saturday event.
