Our middle school Quiz Bowl team proudly represented Nebraska yesterday in the virtual National FCCLA JV LifeSmarts Competition! They advanced to the semifinals and will compete again today against Colorado. Best of luck to the team!

The Nebraska Department of Education Rule 51, Regulations and Standards for Education Programs, requires that school districts destroy all personally identifiable Special Education data maintained on students five years after the completion of the activities for which special education funds were used.
All Special Education records that have been maintained by Cross County Community Schools for 5 years after they are no longer needed are now scheduled to be destroyed. Students with a graduation date of May 2021 will have their records destroyed after June 1, 2026.
Parents and/or students can contact the school office at 402-764-5521 to arrange a time to pick up the files. If the school district has not been contacted by June 1, the school district assumes the right to shred all information of the individual contained in the Special Education file.
